NACIÓN-FZ | interactive super fuzz
JOIN THIS SONIC GUERRILLA
A collaboration pedal between Paradox Effects and Tijuana Fuzz Festival, a limited edition that gathers 10 years of navigating the inception of fuzz circuits, designed with the main objective of elevating the uncanny sounds of the genre.
Fuzz is a responsive circuit by nature, and Nación-FZ expresses that to perfection. Three main voices distinguish this design, Feline, Mexican Radio Fuzz, and Mids Abyss.
With a thick and defined bass content, take control of 70’s fuzz tones, broken speakers, radio fuzz strangled by gates, synthetic oscillations, and all the fuzz goodness taken beyond sonic frontiers.
A new electromagnetic identity claims sonic land.
VOLUMEN/VOLUME: Controls the general amplitude of the effect.
F(Z): Is not your typical gain control, a function that determines the fuzz’s overall articulation, thinner and strangled to the left, rounder and rumbling to the right.
ESPECTRO/SPECTRUM: Calibrates the frequency response, turn the knob clockwise for a more predominant mix of bass and midrange.
VOZ F(z)/VOICE: Three selectable voices that determine the main fuzz interaction, as well as the F(z) control.
Synthetic, strangled with oscillating and convoluted textures, a classic Paradox fuzz voice.
2-Mexican Radio Fuzz
A voice inspired by the 70’s fuzzes, broken speaker sounds and radio intereference.
Focused on midrange and bass expression, an underground fuzz of deep frequencies.
RANGO (a)/RANGE: Select between two intervals of resonance for the Action switch.
ACCIÓN/ACTION: Submit the circuit to a resonant condition that enriches your dynamics, producing new synthetic tone intermodulations, fuzz wah sensations, kill switch, even radio interference on certain settings. Select the interaction intensity with the range toggle.
Power Supply: 9vDc (No battery option)
Min. Current Draw: 20mA
Dimensions: 94(W) x 120(D) x 57.8(H)mm (with jacks and knobs)
We recommend using a regulated 9 volt Dc power supply with our pedals, 2.1mm diameter positive barrel and negative center. Using one with poor regulation, not isolated and poor filtering can result in unexpected noise or unwanted higher voltages that can take the pedal out of operation and even cause damage.
