FUTURA v2 is a portal to chorus-vibrato effects. An immediate take for those chasing profound coral landscapes that defined an era, from lush and dreamy coral tones, to Vibrato/VHS sounds, from recording devices imperfections, Hi-Fi to Lo-Fi, a retro futuristic machine.
Futura stands out from other pedals, offering a wide range with its dual standalone effects. In C mode, from a warm BBD style, thick dimensional choruses, and in V mode moves towards wows and flutters out of video cassette degradation. An essential interface with reusable controls.
The dynamic response for Chorus and Vibrato modes extends to its range, response controls, and to its embedded envelope interaction. This feature bends a set of parameters in both modes generating an experience of sounds; create beautiful flourish modulations in C and corrupt the fidelity of this virtual cassette in V, with the touch of your picking.

Slow sine modulations, controlling multiple delay lines, some out of phase, creating profound tridimensional sounds.

Blends the multiple delay lines, adding an out of phase version, increasing the depth and opening the high frequency content, creating a more pristine, thick and tridimensional sound.

This will introduce an envelope modulation for a delay time inside the topology, producing a vibrato bar bending that will make a beautiful and lush image of the whole effect. No whammy bar? no problem!
vibrato
Aperiodic slow-fast (wow and flutter) modulations that recreate the sound of spinning tape imperfections.

Decrease the fidelity, characteristic of old video tape machines, narrowing the overall bandwidth and adding high speed time distortion from the flutter function, a control for playful tone corruption.

Mounts a rapid random fluctuation on the slow WOW signal, reacts to the envelope, giving those sputtering vibrato tones characteristic of tape failure. This modulation is more timbrical, textures of old.

The envelope becomes more or less pronounced over the whole response:

Standard mode, subtle movements to the modulation voice with the envelope of your instrument.

Futura v2, requires a 9 Volt DC power supply, 2.1mm diameter, with a positive barril and centre negative. A power supply with bad regulation, not isolated or with poor filtering, might generate unexpected noise or undesired voltages that can damage the pedal.
